Five years ago I was in a class under the instructor, Richard Sturdevant. If you haven't seen his work, you should look it up. I was inspired that he made custom banners for a team in Texas. They hung these banners up with pride along the fence at every home game honoring the seniors. What a great tradition! I presented it to the Touch Down Club and they wanted to do it for their seniors. For the past 5 years every senior class now gets a banner that they use to hang on the fence at every home game, use on the homecoming float, decorate the banquet and then they get to take it home. I also make a Senior Tribute banner. In the past they have auctioned off the banner at the end of the year and had all the seniors sign it.
The photos I take of the team, at the game and of the seniors were put on to the cakes.
I also designed and ordered custom football for the seniors as their gift. Each senior signed a template I had which I turned into a jpeg for the template. I also used their
senior night photo and added the team logo.
Finally the action shots taken at the game were printed as black and whites and put in Dollar Store frames and put all the tables.
There are so many uses for your sports photography at the banquets.
