I went to a yoga class before New Years and the instructor talked about recapitulation. It's not about a resolution, it's about re-evaluating what went well and what didn't work and making those changes. Recapping. Pushing forward into the new year to change what we don't like and keep what we do! I also listened to Mel Robins speak at #ImagingUSA in San Antonio in January. Her mantra was to say "5-4-3-2-1 GO! Stop thinking about it and "Just Do It". I put these things into practice. I spent the weekend giving the Keepsake Studio and much-deserved make-over. I am embarrassed at how crowded I let it become with all my props and chairs.
Owning your own business involves family. My daughter and husband spent much of their weekend on this project as well. I appreciate them so much. For photographers reading this, or enthusiastic parent that love photography, I am going to have a huge 'destash" or studio garage sale. Message me if you are interested.
